A little background...

 

While completing his university study in Australia, Scottie began to explore the creation of works using different types of medium on a variety of surfaces. This exploration aligned with his university education and blended with the presentation methods of a number of his submissions and presentations.

​

Post university study, and whilst practicing Architecture in both Australia and then later, the Middle East, Scottie has continue to explore the application of various medium with limited colour to produce various works. 

​

The works are typically fun in appearance, with the use of strong primary colours and playful textured variance is typical across the surface of the substrate.

​

The images whilst considered, are a secondary driver of the works. The process is primarily more to do with the lines and shapes which are created, and it is the space between the apparent objects, that appear in the final completed images.

​
